Child Care Foundational Trainings

Important Update: Child Care Foundational Training (CCFT)

The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) is transitioning to a new online system for all Child Care Foundational Training (CCFT). Beginning July 1, 2026, the Professional Development Network (PDN) at UW-Milwaukee will serve as the CCFT administrator. As part of this transition, all CCFT course registration and online course content will move from The Wisconsin Registry to the Professional Development System (PDS).

A new Professional Development System (PDS) profile is required.

Please allow 3–4 hours after creating your PDS profile for the system to update before searching for or registering for classes.
